Here are some important dates to know to stay in the running in 2016.

  • 1/20/16 – Announcement on KBTX morning show
  • 1/26/16 – Proclamation at Brazos County Commissioner’s Court
  • 2/6/16 – Kickoff at Post Oak Mall
  • 2/13/16 – Last day to register for recognition eligibility
  • 4/2/16 – Last day to count miles
  • 4/7/16 – Last day to log miles
  • ??/??/16 – Prize patrol


Join the Taskforce…

If you would like to join the Brazos County Walk Across Texas Taskforce, please come to our next meeting Decemebr 15th at 3:30 pm. in the basement of City Hall (300 S. Texas Avenue). We as a taskforce are very committed to getting people moving. If the taskforce is not your cup of tea, please share ideas (send the webmaster an email) on what you would like to see added to Brazos County Walk Across Texas to help us reach out to our community.
